Icons and Shit

Hey guys, as you have noticed, there is a strong lack of cool icons on this forum. While star treck icons are cool and all, I think we can do better. I was thinking of a nerdy night club theme (a night club filled with computers, video games and soda instead of poker and beer). Share your thoughts below.

This actually sounds really fun. I think it would be cool if we have a design contest or something for it?

Or it could be completly homestuck themed. have the buttons be the sburb logo or an ==>, and in the backround have a picture of bec noir or something. I have mail lady bec somewhere on here

I'd like to avoid an entire homestuck themed forum, because other people might use this that arent homestuck nerds. Certantly some of the stuff will be homestuck though.

The star trek icons are cool, but the main problem I have is the color scheme. You may force me to write a greasemonkey script to change the colors to something nicer .

I can change the colors anytime I want. What do you want changed?

I just find the color scheme sort of... harsh. It should be dark, as this is dorks after *dark*, but the purple scheme isn't that great. Is it possible to have multiple color schemes?

What do you mean by harsh? Also, the whole theme is sort of supposed to be a nerdy night club. So the purple blue combo is sort of what we got. It took me a couple hours to get this combo workable, so before we change some of the stuff, I kind of want most of the colors worked out.

Looks more purple than blue to me. I'll just use my greasemonkey skillz to change the colors.
