StarWars RP: Shadows of the Past

Dack landed his ship on the surface of Kessel, and opened the ramp quickly. He hoped the officer would come this time with the spice. All Dack could hear was his own breathing through his oxygen mask. Finally the officer came, pushing a cart with two crates of glitterstim.
"Thank you. Tajsk will sent you for your services, as soon as I get out of here." Dack said, pushing the cart onto his ship. 
The officer walked away, brushing some dust of his uniform.
Dack pushed the cart onto his ship, and did some quick check ups before he lifted off.

After mining for awhile Corak took a break. He thought he heard a ship but couldn't be sure. Grabbing his two carts full of glitterstim he ran to the exit and grabbed a breathing mask. Then he opened the airlock and pulling the carts with him went out onto the surface of Kessel. He looked around and saw a ship. He ran as fast as he could with two carts. Even though they were hover carts they were still quite heavy. He ran to the ship and went up the boarding ramp without even looking who was inside.

"Who the hell are you!?" Yelled Dack at the trandoshian running onto his ship. The wail of sirens could be heard in the distance.
"Shut up, fly, I have spice!!!" He yelled back at Dack. 
Dack ran to the helm, closed the ramp, and flew off, hoping he survived the maw yet again.

When Lilita landed on tatooine, she walked to the cantina and found the specified seat in one of the booths. She caught a whiff of something that smelled like Rodin guts. She made a face and scanned the bar for the person she was waiting for. After a short while an Ithorian began walking over. He slid onto the bench on the opposite side of the table and in a low voice asked, "do you have it?"
"Ya I got it. It's in my ship. You have the payment?"
The alien shifted uncomfortably in his seat and Lilita glared at him. "You don't?"
"There were complications, and we do not have the credits. But I do have a rare Jedi holocron. You can probobly make a lot of money off of that."
Lilita continued glaring, but in her head he was thinking hat it was a pretty good deal. Jedi holocron a were hard to come by these days. Someone had been looting all the obvious sites are more some.
"It's a deal. But don't think that this will work again. Next time I'm taking the credits or nothing." 
The Ithorian nodded and the transaction continued. The boxes of medical supplies were taken off her ship, and in exchange, they gave her a richly decorated cube. She nodded. It was in good condition.
When she left the atmosphere she thought about contacting an old friend she knew while growing up. It would be interesting to see how he had changed.

Raack's ship descended into the atmosphere of the ancient planet. Luckily, he came down and saw the hooded man standing in the front of an ancient looking temple. He landed and got out and walked to the man, his steps making clouds of the orange dust of the old planet. 
"So," Raack asked the man. "What is so important that you will pay me in advance?" The man smiled and held out a hologram of a Chiss man in a robe. 
"This job will be unlike anything you have ever done before. However, I have faith you will succeed." The man explained. Raack looked at him impatiently. 
"I need you to recover this man from Republic captivity." The image then changed to a look of planets. A shuttle came into view and stopped by a space station. "They will refill before bringing this man to the Jedi home world of Yavin 4. If you attack while they are refueling, you can destroy their escorts and board the ship. You can then kill the soldier inside the ship and free your target." The man explained. Raack looked at him. He must have been insane. It was one thing to kill a senator in a not well guarded office but another thing to kill escorts and steal a captive that was being taken to the Jedi council, probably to be executed. There was a slight chance he could do it but not without getting hunted down by the Republic. It was way to risky. 
"In addition to the large amount of money, I will also be able to get you to Rodia so you can kill you're rebels." The man told Raack. Raack looked at him and saw no trace of lying. It was his one chance to get to Rodia and kill them. He couldn't get there before because of the war and Republic shuttles were blockading the planet so that no one could interfere with the war. They would be nothing compared to the Republic forces and even though it seemed insane, he wanted a challenge. Raack looked at the man for a while. 
"Why me?" He finally asked. The man smiled. 
"You are more special than you think Raack. I'm glad you accept." The man turned around and opened the temple and walked in. He paused for a second and snapped his fingers and a grey case came flying out of the temple. The doors then slammed shut. Raack picked up the case slowly and checked to see a huge amount of credits. Raack turned to his ship, knowing he had a lot to do.

Dack finally landed on Tatooine, with the Trandoshian.
They had had a talk, and had decided to work together. They unloaded their glitterstim and sold it.

Lilita started the call. She had to admit, it took some series hunting to find her friend from all those years ago. The blue tinted holo of a tall man came up. She reconized him immidiatly. Sure he was starting to get a beard now, and now he wore Jedi robes, but his face was just the same. She smiled and asked, " Hey Keal. Do you remember me?"
"How could I forget. Always finding ways to make money fast to save you dads farm. How have the years treated you Lilita?"
Lilita hid her disappointment that he didn't sound excited. "I've found work as a Merchant. Is the Jedi order everything you thought it would be?"
"No. When I arrived there was a saddening amount of knowledge stored here. I've been extremely busy filling the hole in he archives. Maybe we should meet up at a cantina somewhere to talk in person?"
Lilita thought, "Why not Ord Mantel? I know a nice cantina there we can stop by."
"Sounds good. Drinks on me." The all ended and Lilita stared at the wall. "He's cute now!"

Kael ended the call. Lilita was attractive now. He always knew she was hot. But. Damn. He smiled a little then remembered, "There is no passion. There is Serenity," from the jedi code. He went back to his stony face, and blocked all thoughts of her from his mind besides how she could be useful. Perhaps she could find holocrons for him

The planet of Bespin hung right below Raack's star-ship. He looked at it in disgust. It was an ugly orange with creme streaks. He wondered how people enjoyed living in a planet full of gas. Weirdos. He slowly descended onto the planet and landed exactly where he needed to be. He stayed in his ship for a while, thinking. If he did this, he would start something he would have to finish. There was no running. There was no other way. He had to do it now. 
Raack shook his head. Its not like he ever did that anyway. He grabbed the face mask he bought and put it on. He walked out and nodded to the owner of the land pad. He nodded back and the pad moved into a garage where it would be safe. He looked across to another platform. There was the ship that he had to steal to get on the Republic ship. He could run to get there or he could do something else. He activated his jet boots and began to fly across to the platform. Guards noticed him and began shooting at him. He pulled out his rifle and took them out. He landed down and switched to his two blasters. He shot down the guards easily. He saw the pilot run out and jump in the ship. Raack smiled. Finally, some challenge. The pilot started up the ship and began to fly. Raack pointed his arm out to the ship and his grappling hook and got on the ship as it began to ascend. Raack got on top of the ship and pulled open the cockpit of the ship. He grabbed the man with one hand and held him out. 
"What the hell do you want?" The man choked. Raack smiled, knowing the man couldn't see it. 
"This ship." He replied simply and threw the man off, into the orange clouds below. He then sat down in the ship. It was a little early but he supposed he could hang out before the ship came for its refueling.

Kael set down, and hunted for the cantina he was told of. It wasn't too hard to find Lilita. A crowd of men were hovering over her, and she just ignored them, sipping her drink and silently praying that they would go away. Kael found it kind of humorous, but he didn't let it show and walked over.
"Out. Now. I have business with her," He warned the men. They looked up, glanced at his double sided light saber that was hanging from his belt, and decided that it was better to leave. He took a seat and Lilita smiled at him.
"Never seen a Jedi intimidate someone before."
"I've never seen a congregation of men around a single lady that large before."
She smiled. "So. You said that you still need holocrons right? Just the other day a man paid me with a rather extravagant looking one instead of credits. You want to check it out?"
Kael raised his eyebrows. "Sure."

The pair sat in Lilita's ship. The holocrons sat on a small table. They started it, and a hooded figure wearing dark robes and a mask was projected up. The color drained from Kael's face, and Lilita raised her eyebrows as the man began talking in complete gibberish.
Kael stopped it a little ways in and turned to her.
"That's Darth Nihlus. One of the most powerful Sith Lords to have lived. He once devoured the essence of an entire planet."
"So should I destroy it?"
"No. It could still have valuable information. I'm just wondering who had it before. This information could be dangerous in the hands of anyone force sensitive and on the dark side. Is it alright if I take it to the Jedi temple for it to be protected?"
"Sure. I don't mind. The thing brings a chilly feeling into the room anyway."
"Lets go back to the cantina. Its warmer there."

The cantina was indeed warmer.
"You want a drink?" Lilita asked, knowing full well the answer.
"No thanks."
Lilita leaned back and yelled, "Two drinks here please!"
"I said I didn't want one."
"Well I don't want to drink alone."
The night continued. Drinks kept coming, and in no time, they were both drunk. Kael's "Jedi Code" went out the window. They were both laughing at just about everything, until they were kicked out, then they moved to Kael's ship, and continued.
Kael woke the next morning with a splitting headache. It occurred to him that he could have just purged all the alcohol from his body last night by meditating, but then part him was like 'Naaaa man. You had fun.' He got up from his bed and walked out into the living room. Lilita was sitting on the couch, she looked up when he entered.
"Headache?"
"Yup. You?"
"Nope. I've built up a sort of immunity to alcohol now."
Kael laughed, and then he made his headache worse so he stopped. He sat on the floor, and meditated for a few seconds, and it was gone.
"All better."
"Just like that? That would have made a lot of unhappy nights easier on me a long time ago."
"Perk of being a Jedi."
Lilita paused. "I had missed you when you went off to the Jedi order."
Inside Kael's head, he was screaming at himself, "NO! NO NO NO NO NO!" But he wasn't really paying attention to his head. He smiled. "I missed you too. But we're in touch now, want to stay that way?"
Lilita brightened up. "Sure. I should go though. I've got a contract I have to do."
Kael walked her to the ramp, (like a true gentleman).
"Soooooo.... see you later?"
"Ya."
Kael placed his hand on the back of her neck and kissed her. He figured, once step into the dark side and he'll have to take two steps back. He didn't notice that he had already taken three in the bad direction.

Lilita stepped into her vessal and sat against the wall. She closed her eyes and tried to visualize that kiss again. She sighed, and wandered to her cockpit. She did a few checkups, and then soon, she was leaving the atmosphere.

Kael starting back to Yavin 4, but decided to take another detour to Tatooine. When he landed on the surface he wandered to the cantina, inside he looked around and saw a shady looking correlian and a trandoshian. Maybe a bodyguard but he looked a little beat up so maybe not. He approached the correlian and said, "Hello. I was wondering if you would like a job opportunity."

(No idea what's going on with wasashfotjsklhdnjksn is it alright if I just call him Panelli? I know all your names. Trandoshian dude just got off prison planet on you ship, Carnage is collecting holocrons and I think giving them to whoever Donald is, and has a relationship with Lilita (mua) on the side, despite his beliefs, which is that the Old Republic jedi had it right with the Jedi Code. But he isn't giving a holocron of Darth Nihulis because he was a total badass and Kael is being greedy.)

Dack looked at the man approaching him as he took a drink from his mug. Looked to be a jedi. Dack didn't care for the jedi but he was willing to work for one if that's what he wanted. Probably get paid well.
"Hello. I was wondering if you would like a job opportunity." The jedi asked him.
"What sort of job?" Dack replied, twirling his blaster pistol in one hand as he took another sip of his brandy.

Kael eyed the blaster that was twirling carefully. He hated it when people did that. Was always afraid they were accidently going to pull the trigger and someone would need a new face... or toe.
"...The kind that gets you credits? Look, I'll give you 500 credits for any Jedi or Sith holocrons you bring me. 600 if I feel it's something special. Deal?"
