Panelli's RP: Murder in the moonlight

(THE MURDERER AND DETECTIVE HAVE BEEN PICKED, LET THE GAME BEGIN)

(I know you guys are tense because one of you is the murderer and you don't know who it is but please, talk with each other so that way we have a little more before one of you dies.)

Herbert saw two other guests arrive, both lead in by his host. The sat down, all of the waiting in silence for someone one else to speak. Finally Herbert brought up the courage to speak.
"Hi, I'm Herbert." Herbert extended his hand to guy with the mohawk.

Minerva drove up the drive, seeing the mansion ahead. She still didn't believe she had taken time out of her studies to come here, however it had great historical value among other things. Around were four parked cars, one being unloaded by what looked to be servants.

Aric shakes the man's hand, "Aric. Do you by any chance know who the host is?"

"Not really, he just greeted me and brought  me in here." Herbert, leaned back against the couch. "I wonder if anyone else is coming?"

Minerva walked into the room, noting the two men and the woman sitting around on the couches. She just hoped they wouldn't bug her much.

Janet sees the girl walk in and gets up to meet her. She smiled politely although she has a strange feeling that this person is going to be a stuck up bitch   and extends her hand, "Hi, I'm Janet Elora. You are...?"

"I'm Minerva" Minerva says pleasantly, shaking her hand. 
"I'm Herbert." Herbet says, standing up.
"Nice to meet you." Minerva sits down in one of the chairs near the fire, placing her books on a small stand next to it, pulling out a sheet of her paper for college, starting to draft it a little more. She looks up at everyone, seeing if they notice or care.

[Sorry for switching tenses if I do]

"Aww so your a student? What are you majoring in?" Aric asks Manerva. She seemed like the type that wanted to be left alone. He chuckled inside. Never.

"Well, I think I want a degree in Biochemicals, I'm planning to get a PhD in it" Minerva replied, checking another thing of her paper. It was wierd talking so freely with this man but whatever. School interested her.

"I'm in med school right now. Any chance you're going to become an anesthesiologist?" (Someone who keeps you asleep during surgery)

"No" Minerva replied dryily, returning to her books.

Aric cringes at the lack of opportunity there. "So what are your interests besides school?"

"School." She replied, then added "Tennis"

Janet just sits back for a little with a fake smile than turns to Herbert and asks, "so what is it you do?"

Aric cradles his head in his hands. "I like tennis. Are you any good?"

Personality:Shy, doesn't like to talk to many people other than Jayin. Loves reading in books. They usually doesn't want people to see them because they are albino.  
Looks: Albino with white hair and red eyes (albino u know). Wears neon colors often.  

After Jayin informed their staff, they took out their phone. They had a call to make. The phone rang once, twice, three times before someone picked up. 
"Hello." A soft, familiar voice answered Jayin. They smiled. 
"Hello Hope. Its been a while." Jayin replied. 
"It has." There was a silence before Hope added on, "Why are you calling?" Jayin sighed. Here was the hard part. 
"I'm having a party over here at my house for a couple days and I was wondering if you wanted to come." Jayin told Hope. 
"No way Jayin. You know I hate having people seeing me." Hope replied as soon as they could. 
"I know, but I'll make sure your safe. You have me remember." Jayin told Hope. Hope was silent for a while. 
"Only for a few days?" Hope asked. 
"Yes only a few, then you can go back to your art." Jayin told them. Hope sighed. 
"Fine I'll come." Hope told Jayin. Jayin smiled big. 
"This'll be fun just you wait." Jayin told Hope and they said goodbye and hung up.

"Sure, I'm pretty good" Minerva replied, looking at her host calling someone

Hope sighed as they put down the phone. They really didn't want to go to a house with a bunch of people who were gonna be looking at them and seeing their weird albino complexion. At least Jayin would be there. At least they could make sure the people at the party weren't too weird about it. Hope got up off their couch and began walking to the next room. They had been painting a new work that they really liked. The best thing about being an artist is that you didn't have to go to show off your works, you could just hire someone to make the museum show them so you could get money doing something you loved but no one would have to see you. That's why Hope loved being an artist so much. They went into their room and grabbed a bunch of stuff for painting. Hope then called up their butler. He came quickly. 
"You called?" The butler asked. 
"I'm going out for a couple days, I'm gonna take the helicopter." Hope told the butler quickly. The butler looked at Hope strangely. 
"Are you going to Jayin's?" The butler asked. Hope nodded and the butler nodded. Hope then walked out to the helicopter pad on the top of their mansion. Being good at art sure paid well. Hope got in the helicopter and as it ascended into the sky, Hope wondered if this was a mistake. However, they trusted Jayin.

Herbert looked at the other woman who was talking to him, asking about what he did.
"Oh, I write stories and make maps. You?"

"I work for the police, figuring out how people died, when they died, who killed them. Those sort of things. Have you completed any books?"

"Yeah, I my first book was a murder mystery in a floating city above the sky, called Earthbound. It's a good book if you're looking for mystery. Another good book by me is Epicenter which is where an arteficially planet is going to be destroyed and the main character have to stop it." Herbert looked at Minerva who was just sitting there reading her book. Fiction was probably to good for her.
"Anyway, if you read my books, avoid The Fall at all costs. It sucks. Any cool mysteries or crimes you've solved."

"Well there was one case in which there was a phyco who would skin his victims, hang their skins on buildings in smiley face formation and sell the meat to a butcher under the label of chicken. I didn't actually solve the case itself, but I got a few partial prints that narrowed it down... Do you have a copy of Earthbound that I could borrow? I might be interested in reading that."

Minerva actually looks up from her studies at the other woman. 
"I have a copy if you really want it." She wrote a quick word then added. "it's in my car, i'll go get it"

Minerva got up and went and got the book
