Bens RP: Mutation (Mutants)

Thomas stepped down the dark hallway, throwing pebbles ahead. He activated almost all the traps, and was able to get past the rest. After repeating this, the reached the inner sanctum. 
It was a large circular room, with a hole in the ceiling to let light in. Steps descended from all sides to a circular shallow pool of water. The circle was the size of a small house, with the sand and dirt in it coming up making little islands. From one island grew a small beautiful tree.
Right in the middle of the water was a statue of a marble warrior, brandishing a huge sword.
"I'm guessing that's the guardian" Murmured Teresa.

Dimitri looked around at the walls. There were four alcoves with an obsodian statue in each one. They all looked demonic, with the combination of the stones dark color, and the horns on their heads, but somehow, to Dimitri they looked less menacing.
"I think, we have to activate those ones somehow."
He walked to the first one. It had a scythe and lapis eyes. He reached and moved his hand through the body.
"There's a lever back there." He paused an looked at them. "If I pull it, it's gonna activate this one, but also the marble sentinel. Are you ready?"
They all nodded and he flipped he switch. He jumped off the pedistal as the obsydian warrior slowly came to life and took a step forward. At the same time, the one of marble came to life as well. It immidiatly started running at the three at the head of the room. The black defender, however, got their first, swinging its scythe high at the enemies head. The sentinel was faster however and dodged.
The three moved to act, but Dimitri shouted "Stop! The statues are here to protect us let them do the work."
While they paused to honk abou it he crossed he room to the second. Two daggers and brown eyes. He again pulled the lever behind it and ran to the third. The second statue spran to life sprinting toords the ongoing battle where the white statue kept unsuccessfully tryin to get at the humans who had all decided it was probobly best if they stayed out of it.
Dimitri repeated the process until the green eyed, and the yellow eyed statues were moving as well, wielding a blade extending from the wrist, and an axe. The white statue was now focused entirely on those made of obsidian. When all four were attacking, the sentinel was short work.
"That was fun to what-"
Dimitri was cut short when the obsidian statues exploded. Everyone took cover, except for Dimitri who hovered in the air. Orbs of light remained where the statues once stood and after a moments pause, raced to Dimitri. He fell to the ground and slowly go to his feet looking at his hands. He flicked his wrist and on of his hands turned invisible. He flicked the other and that one turned to obsidian.
"Badass!"
He fully turned invisible and walked over to the door, before turning back into himself. "Looks like when I go ethereal, I'm invisible now."
Teresa smiled, and the others looked normal.
A little disappointed, Dimitri led them to the other side of the room and placed his hands in to holes. A few seconds later the door opened, and they stepped in.

A bolt suddenly struck Dimitri and he collapsed. The others turned around quickly.
"Don't worry, he's only sleeping. I don't like being outnumbered." Jonathan told them with a smile on his face. "Hello all you guys! It's good to see you again, it's been so long. See while I fled off with Kile and Demter, a lot has happened. Kile left, and I got these two fine gentlemen here." He pointed at James and Jim.
"My names Jim and he's James." Jim told them. "I see this is what the legendary Teresa and Thomas looks like. You're lucky, more than half the time it's you two on his mind."
"Oh come on, you're not jealous are you?" Jonathan shook his head. "Anyway, I came here today to basically show you how much power I now possess. It was suprisingly easy to wrap AMMO around my finger." His smile widened as he saw there looks of shock. "And that's not all. Pretty soon I'll have loads more of people to use. It will be so fun playing the game! I can't wait to start!" Jonathan sounded like a child with a new toy.
"No Jon, I think we shall have to change the game." Jim said as he reached in his pocket and pulled out some explosives. "Sorry guys I'm soooooo changeable! It's a big weakness. But to be fair it is my only weakness.

" Jim smiled as he saw the looks of terror on the faces of his enemies. "I would try to convince you but everything I have to say has already crossed your miiiiiinds." Jim then threw the explosives up in the air and shot them. The roof began to collapse. Jim, Jonathan and James all ran out of the temple and sprinted out of the jungle, wondering if the other three would escape in time.

Dimitri slowly, but calmly brings himself back up to his feet. "Holy fucking catsuit that hurt." He glances at his friends and says, "I think you guys can make it out on your own. If you wanna go on further, you probobly don't need me." He hen turns misled into obsidian, and starts running towards the exit. (Ben if you need him just grab him. He's not gone yet.)

After the encounter Chris' powers were more powerful suddenly he thought of Johnathan. Suddenly his whole body was covered in golden flames. He shot a fire ball and what came out was more of a mini sun. Then he ran toward the exit but his body made fire come out of his feet and Chris flew about 5 feet from the ground and shot toward the exit.

Power surged through Teresa and Thomas, filling every fiber of their being with potential energy.
"Quick, to the exit!" Screamed Teresa.
The pair raced toward the exit avoiding falling debris. Thomas looked checked the ceiling, just as a huge chunk of stone plummeted down towards them. 
"Run!" He yelled, watching the stone. They weren't going to make it.
Suddenly steel beam appeared, holding it up.
Teresa looked at her hand, realizing how much control she had over her new power. 
"Come on!" Yelled Thomas as he grabbed her arm, pulling her along.
They got out, just as the temple collapsed behind them.

"Hey Jim." Jonathan said to Jim as he stood next to him, waiting for Teresa to make it out of the jungle or not. "You know that was only some of the people that Teresa made her allies..." Jim turned to him and smiled.
"Good work and I think I know the general area of where they are hiding." Jim replies. "If you didn't notice, Thomas' shoes had a thick light mud, which if I am correct, is in the southeast region of this city."
"Jim you are fantastic!" Jonathan exclaimed. "But I'm still mad Jim." He then turned away and ordered the lieutenant to watch the area as he grabbed the car.
"I'm coming with you Jon." Jim told Jonathan.
"I know. Get in." Jonathan replied. And the two drove off in the direction of the house.

They soon arrived at the southeast corner of town. They were getting out of their car when they saw Jania walk into the house.
"Well that was easy." Jonathan remarked as they followed her stealthily. The door was left open because someone else was coming out. When the guy (Connor) walked in the doorway, he was hit with a sleep dart and collapsed. Jim and Jonathan ran up and moved the body out of sight. They then moved into the house.
"Chris?" Jaina was yelling from the kitchen. "Back so soon?" Jonathan then came into the kitchen. Jaina was about to say something when Jim jumped forward and choked her into unconsciousness. Jim quickly grabbed the body and the two ran back to the car and sped off, a new prisoner in tow.

Conner woke up outside the house were he had been shot. He went into the house "Jaina" he called. There was no response. Then it hit him they had toked her. Quickly he wrote a note and put it on the table it read: they took Jaina gonna go find her. -Conner. So he left and found the scent train of the car and followed it. It lead to some random house. He brought out his map and put and mark. Then he thought he should go get the help of the others so he went back and threw the note in the trash.


At that time Chris came rushing back to the house and asked where Jaina was and Conner told him and showed him the map. They then decided to wait for Thomas and Teresa.

Jaina was really fucking unhappy. Luckily, she didn't need her hands to use her power, and she had bubbled off her entire room, making it impossible to get into the door when hey wanted to. She was very proud of herself. It also was really nice cause she wasn't sore, and her wrists weren't bein rubbed raw by the crappy ass restraints hey put her in. She sighed and waited. Conner would find her and hopefully he would have the team in tow but she wast sure.

"Oh hello Jaina! Its good to see you're awake. Don't worry, we won't harm you." Jonathan said to the awakened Jaina. "I mean Kile would kill us if we hurt you. Anything Jim?" He asked Jim as Jim was concentrating on Jaina.  
"Nope they have no plans yet. Just trying to survive." Jim told Jonathan. Jonathan nodded.
"Well then Jaina, if you have anything you need just holler and we'll come get you." Jonathan said as he walked out the door with Jim and then locked it.

Thomas and Teresa arrived back at the house, happy that their powers had gotten increased. The immediately forgot this when they saw Chris's face.
"What happened?" Asked Teresa, worried.
"They took Jaina." He said.
"Those bastards"

"So what we gonna with this lady?" James asked Jonathan as he sat down on the couch.

"Conner here has a map with there location on it so we can track them down and burn 'em" says Chris.

(Um ok randomass map that shouldn't exist ok sure.)
"Well James my only reason for doing this is to gain leverage over Teresa. I have no real intention of hurting Jaina, but if worst must come to worst, I have some room." Jonathan explained to James. "What's up Jim?" He asked Jim as he noticed him staring out the window of the house.
"I am sure they will be coming soon." Jim replied, solemnly. "I want to be ready."
"Let me fix that." Jonathan said as he grabbed a microphone.
"Special announcement. Teresa and the rest of you buggers better not come over here and fuck with us or Jaina will be dead so choose wisely." Jonathan spoke on the loud speakers. "There." He said as he turned back to the couch.

((new rule. Basically you can't kill someone without their permission.))

(Jaina had blocked off the room so they couldn't really say that to her. And in case your wondering she is thinking about strangling Jonathan. And Ben, darn it. I wanted Kile to get a headshot on a surtain mind reader.)

Kile had obviously followed the two J's when he first got the chance. He saw them capture Jaina, and as far as he was concerned, that was a step too far. He walked behind the house and looked through the window. Jaina had her shield up.
"Good girl." He whispered to hinself, before taking his jacket off and breaking the glass. Jaina looked just in time to see Kile swear and shake his hand in pain. He moved the other hand in a silence motion over his mouth, and then thought about why he broke a window if he was being silent. Then mentally shrugged and vaulted over the sil.
He raises his eyebrow and asked, "miss me?"
When she was untied she, to his surprise, hugged him and said, "you have no idea how boring it is without you. I thought decoration and cleaning would be fun until I realized that is work."
Kile chuckled and said, "thank you. I don't like cleaning either. So I don't. Have someone else to do it for me." Then he escorted her out quietly. When they were a good distance away, and he made sure they weren't followed Kile asked, "So, do you know the way from here?"
"I guess. It shouldn't be too hard to figure out."
"Good. Will you please tell me where that is?"
She thought of Dimitri for a second and immidiatly said, "no."
He smiled and said, "I thought you didn't keep secrets Jaina."
"I do not!"
"It's fine. We all have something to hide."
They paused. "How is Teresa?"
"You know, she's not as bad as I though she was going to be. But it's barely 3 seconds between each snog so that gets old pretty dam fast."
Kile laughed loudly. "It is to be expected. I've never been in love, but I imagine that if I had my mind off of work, I'd have my lips on hers."
They both laughed a little. Then they were silent again.
"I'm going to go. Have some people to boss around."
"Ya, I have to some people to reassure."
"Until we meet again."
Jaina nodded, and they went their seperate ways.

Jaina arrived at the house after a few wrong turns and called, "hello?"

Kile arrived at the theater and told his men that nobody was to disturb him. He walked into his room and nursed his knuckles on one hand. After that was done, he lay down, and went to sleep.

"Our captive was just rescued." Jim stated as they walked in the room. Jonathan turned to him.
"You do realize what is going on right?" Jonathan asked Jim.
"Yep. We're fucked if we stay. Lets bail now." Jim told him and grabbed his stuff and put it in the car. Jonathan picked up Orpheus and motioned for James and Demeter to follow. They then sped off from the house and arrived a couple minutes later at a large, fancy house.
"This is yours?" Jonathan asked.
"It is now. A certain man left me a key after a uh good time." Jim explained. Jonathan's face flushed red.
"Wow not very subtle are you." Jonathan commented as he walked in to the house to set up the new base.

After the house was set up Jim was about to go to sleep when he realized Jonathan wasn't there.
"Oh shit that's not good." Jim stated as he got up and ready to find Jonathan.
Meanwhile, Jonathan was exactly where Jim knew he was. Kile's hideout. He had watched as Kile fell to sleep. Jonathan then opened the window and jumped stealthily into the room. He grabbed Kile's pistol and dropped it out the window. Jonathan then crept on Kike and without warning, stabbed him in the chest. Kile instantly woke up but before he could do anything, Jonathan started strangling him. Kile struggled and felt around for the gun to find nothing.
"I will not repeat myself again Kike. Stay out of the game or next time I will stab you in the neck. I don't care if Jaina is the love of your life, don't fucking interfere." Jonathan growled at Kile. He then jumped off of Kile.
"Remember your place Kile. You can only do so much." Jonathan told Kile and then went out the window he came in from. He got in the car and drove off to the house to see Jim standing there.
"He may now change sides you idiot. Then your threat will be useless and we will die." Jim explained to Jonathan.
"I don't fucking care Jim!" Jonathan snarled back. "I'm tired of having everybody fuck with us." He then stormed inside the house. Jim sighed and followed him.
"Jon come on I know your bothered so stop holding it in." Jim pleaded Jonathan. Jonathan was already in the bed facing the opposite direction. Jim sighed again. He wondered if it would be safe to sleep from Kile. He had just been stabbed so most likely he wouldn't come after them tonight. (Meaning no Nick you can't bloody chase is down right after you read this post.)

After Kile bandaged his chest, he fetched his pistol. He checked for damage, and walked back inside. He stopped as he thought about what Jonathan had said. "Am I in love with Jaina?" He wondered aloud. Then he dismissed the thought as ridiculous. Jonathan was just being annoying. Again.
(Also. Are there windows in the dressing rooms of theaters? I think not.)
