Nicks RP: Revolt

The setting is a archipelago where the Orcs live. A colonization fleet of humans stumbled across them, and a large bloody conflict erupted, ending with he slavery of the humans. This is 3 years after that, and you are a 15-20 year old, who breaks out of the camp. The orcs are basically WoW orcs, meaning they look like this: Here

Personality: Absolutely hates the Orcs, and will do anything in his power to kill them all. He hates surprises, and so always expects the unexpected, and is suspicious of everyone. Tries not to get attached.
Looks: Tall with short brown hair cut by a knife, has three scars under his right eye, two going diagonal, one going down across them. Has a (real) disease that has no symptoms other than violet eyes and no body hair besides that on the head.

Keep in mind,that your person is not The Chosen One. They will not be able to take down an Orc in a fistfight. They do not have unlimited knowledge and magic, and will probobly be taken down by a warlock in a duel. The most likely way that they will kill an Orc is by catching him by surprise, and a pack is suicide

If you know about my made up gods, they are not in this.
The orcs have a humongous fortress sitting on the beach of one of the islands.
The slaves are either used in: Mining, arena battles, lumberjacking, or life drains (The magical ones have their life tapped into and given to a high class orc.)
The orcs have dark magicians that go by Warlocks, that have red skin instead of green.
When using dark magic, you can pick between demonic, which is what the orcs use, where you can summon fel flames, which are green and burns hotter without emitting much light and you can drain others of energy (your skill determines how fast) , Rune magic, which is exactly as it sounds, you draw runes on something and it has an effect, so you can make traps, or defenses, its like a less powerful version of arcane, but with more available. And then there's also the tribal I guess we could call it? you create totems and do rituals for various effects. Rituals usually empower you, and totems also vary, but mostly act as defenses. Rituals also require a sacrifice of some sort

ACCEPTED

Alen woke and looked up. He was still sitting on his knees with his arms chained to the ground. The shackles kept him from using magic to do anything about it. He sighed. Knowing that the warlocks would come and siphon his energy soon. So he sat. And waited. When the time arrived the red skinned orcs, clad in dark robes, marched in and severed the chains, however the shackles were still there. One drew a large sword and poked it towards his back, forcing him to walk forward on get stabbed. He was led to familiar chamber. It was circular, with a dais in the middle, and platforms set around it. Alen stared at it, then got an idea. He willingly went to the dais and stood, awaiting the warlock's powers to pull the energy out of him. When the time came, he opened his barriers and let a torrent of magic into some of the warlocks, who stopped the channeling and fell to the ground. Allen ran to the noble and punched him in the face. He cursed and shook his hand in pain. "Orcs have bony tusks!"
Some of the warlocks began standing, so Allen quickly opened the satchel on the nobles belt and brought out the key. He undid his shackles with its help, and then ran like hell. He did not know the halls at all, but he guessed he was going the right way. He saw light at the end of a hallway and ran to it. When he emerged, he was in a peaceful garden. "I had no idea the orcs were such good gardeners," he said, slightly amazed. He had little time to gawk however, because of the yelling of guards behind him. He sprinted to the large cobblestone wall and started to climb. Luckily, there were a good many ridges that he could climb onto. He swung to the side just in time to avoid a glowing green fireball. The heat was unbearable, and it seared a portion of his shirt, but he hung on with one arm, then continued climbing. He made it to the top, dodging fireballs, and then jumped down. He landed hard and pain shot through his ankle, but he ran anyways. The tropical trees stopped the pursuit as he disappeared into the jungle.

Lets get this started

Nyx awoke in his usual position, chained to the wall. Nyx looked down and saw the orc who was about to free him.
"Why today?" The orc was muttering as he released Nyx.
"What happened?" Nyx asked. The orc looked away. In anger, Nyx threw his chains on his feet around the orc's legs, forcing him to go on his knees. He then put his chain on his hands around the orc's neck, suffocating him.
"What happened?" Nyx asked again.
"Some slave escaped into the jungle." The orc told him in a choked voice. Nyx smiled.
"Thank you." After he said this, he snapped the orc's windpipe. He grabbed the key and unlocked him self. Nyx shook, free from the bonds and soon to escape. He then ran like hell. The orcs followed him but he was too fast. He easily escaped into the jungle. Nyx then found a cave where he would stay for a while. He sat down on the cold, hard stone and began to enchant the sword he stole from the orc he killed.

Accepted. But barely. The tattoo is pretty much how I described Alens scars.

Alen peeked around the corner. The village looked so peaceful without the orcs in it. He closed his eyes and felt the memories wash over him. Blood. So much blood. He opened his eyes again and snuck towards the supply shed. He tested the handle. It wasn't locked, but it hadn't been oiled in a long time. He brought out a small fruit. Too small to stem his hunger. He crushed it on the mechanics and then turned the handle. I swung open with little to no sound. He walked in and began filling his arms with food. When he felt he had a decent amount, he walked slowly backwards and closed the door. He turned around and found himself staring at a giant torso covered by leather armor. Alen droped the food and threw a frantic arm forward. A spike of pain shot through the orc, but it remained standing, and merely grabbed an axe off his belt, to end this human's suffering forever.

Personality: Trusts no one. Smart, but tries not to show it. Hates the orcs. Sticks to the shadows. Hates surprises, and tries to expect the unexpected
Looks: Dark short hair, cut by a knife (hes a slave what do you expect), skinny, but surprisingly muscular. He has the same disease as Alen (strangely enough)

Warren was out. He had made it into the jungle. He sighed with relief and collapsed against a tree. Something poked him in the back and he looked behind him to find a key, broken shackles, and a rock. "Someone made it out and stored these here," he guessed. He undid his shackles and rubbed his wrists. A faint scream was heard off in the distance towards the village, but that was a normal thing. Most likely the orc barbarians beating a slave or something. He stood up and pocketed the key. Pocketed meaning he stuck it in the rope that passed for a belt. He walked aimlessly until he smelled the ocean, then followed that. He was met with the endless sea sprawled out in front of him, and a large ship run aground. Three years had taken its toll and it didn't look like it was safe to go in there, but Warren decided that it was better than orcs. He climbed up the rope that was dangling. He decided that just to be safe, he'd pull it up, then went below. Under the deck he found dead sailors. Their skeletons were strewn about the floor, some still clinging to rusty cutlasses. Warren moved to grab one, but on contact it melted into sand. "Magic. Should have known," he mumbled. He walked along until he found a suitable hammock, where he fell asleep, listening to the creak of the boards, and the waves crashing against the hull. In these moments before sleep, he thought of the memories out at sea, before the islands.

"Cut faster!" roared The Orc to Cyroli.
She cut the timber faster, sweat rolling down her forehead. It was a hot sunny day, the sun beaming down on the slaves.
Cyroli was at the top of the hill, cutting wood into smaller bits for firewood and other objects. Down the hill, slaves cutting down the pine tree with iron axes. The wood was then loaded onto carriages, which were then pulled up the hill to the lumber mill, to get cut into smaller pieces for chopping.
She chopped for the rest of the afternoon, chopping for these damn orcs. Finally, as the sun set on the sea, the orcs whistled for them to go in. Her arm were tired, but not as much as when she was first set to work. Still, she looked down and tired. Cyroli didn't want to look to strong, less she get sent to the fighting pits. She had lost her brother to the orcs stupid entertainment.
The steel portcullis grinded up,  revealing the slave courtyard. If you could call it that. In reality, it was a wall, which connected to the mountain side. Orcs patrolled the wall, making sure no one escaped. A waterfall fell into a pond, which ran up to the wall side, and through several bars to make sure no one escaped. Little lean-tos scattered the courtyard, with tattered sheet for walls.
The slaves lined up, walking slowly to the cook. He was an old man, whom the orcs only let live because they were to lazy to make it themselves. He served each man, woman and child a hunk of stale bread, dipped in pumpkin porridge. Same thing, every night. If you wanted water, you had go wadding in the ice cold water, or lap it up like a dog. The cook gave her her bread. It was nice to have food, even though was all she had ever had.
Cyroli had been a slave her whole life, never knowing her parents. Unlike the cook and a few other who had been captured an spared. Stupid Rebellion skum.
They fought the orcs, but what good had that done her? Probably would take them another year to even find Icehearth keep after they defeated the orc leaders. Great.
Cyroli walked over to her lean-to, which was right next to the pool of water. It was nice in the summer, the cool air from the water, and the tranquil, but in the winter could be a pain. It made it even colder, and the small fur blanket they got wasn't enough.

Nyx was asleep until he heard the snap of a branch from outside. He instantly was awake and grabbed his newly enchanted sword. Nyx slowly got to his feet and looked into the darkness. He could make out a large shape running towards him. Nyx ducked as a large saber tooth cat jumped over him. He whipped around and slashed out with his sword. The saber tooth cat growled and swiped at Nyx. He jumped back and, focusing on the magic infused in his blade, he sliced forward and a giant energy blade slashed the cat. It yowled in pain and turned around to attack Nyx. However, Nyx was in the air and stabbed down on the weakened cat, killing it. Nyx turned around and saw two other black shapes running away. He smiled. You had to show you can't easily be killed if you want survive.

"Wake up! You got work to do!" Yelled the all to familiar voice of the orc slave master. He was a big brute, with scars all over his ugly face. The little black hair he had was a mohawk on his otherwise bald head. He wore simple leather armor, showing his hairy chest to everyone. In his belt hung the thing most despised by all the slaves.
Soul Catcher.
It was the name of his whip, a impressive piece of work. It was all black, with three tips shaped like dragon heads. Each had a blueish mist floating out, which let it also damage your soul.
Another day of work. Though Cyroli as she grabbed her breakfast and headed out.

Warren woke up slowly. When he was finally fully conscious he ran through a list of things he should do in his head. He jogged to the upper deck to get the blood flowing, then went into the jungle to find a large branch. He found one within a minute. Wasn't hard. Then he went back to the ship and rummaged through the items thrown around. He eventually found a semi decent knife, and got to work. He got to work carving, creating a spike, with a mask built into it, and two sticks arching off like antenna. "Lets see if I can still do this," he said rubbing his hands together. He placed a hand on the mask and started chanting in a low monotone drone. As he chanted, the eyes in the mask began to host little green orbs that floated in the middle, and magic floated in between the antenna in a blue river. When he was done, he had successfully created an alarm totem, to alert him when something entered its radius. He went off and hung at the bottom of the stairs.

The castle of Icehearth had at one point been the head of some kingdom. Many centuries later, a leader of bandits had found it, and set up base. It led to the founding of a dark empire, which sold lots of bad things, and captured slaves. When the orcs came, they took over this, and kept all the slaves.

Deblin heard the orcs coming as soon as he woke up. He was in his fail of a tent,but he was a slave. The orcs came they put cuff on him then took him to the room and two of them left so there was only one to guard him. There must be something important to let them only leave one to drain my magic he thought. He then decided he try his little trick on this orc. "Which place did the drain last time" grunted the orc. "They haven't drained this arm for a while." answered Deblin. Lifting Deblin left arm sleeve the orc stared at the arm, Deblin felt the rune fade away then the orc fell asleep. Deblin ran to the orc and using the orcs sword cut his bonds grabbed the sword. He had one more rune on the inside of the right sleeve so he cut that off and hid it from his own sight, this rune wound sleep the target, and then they would find him. Then he ran like hell. He ran to the way with 5 orcs chasing him. Quickly he showed the rune to the orcs behind him and the closest one fell instantly fell asleep. Using the plants to his advantage he pulled himself up and jumped on to the wall. Then seeing and pond jumped in and swam to the other side the sprinted off in the direction away from the orcs.

(He wouldn't be able to empower the runes if he had the cuffs on. They are anti magic shit.)

Warren finished another totem. He took it and placed it in a nook under a tree nearby. Almost immediately it alerted him of something potentially dangerous nearby. Warren turned and drew his knife. The lanky figure of a saber cat walked slowly out of the shadows, barring its teeth and growling faintly.
"Fuck," is the only word Warren uttered before sprinting in the direction of the ship. He never had a chance. The saber cat jumped on his back as he ran and came in for a bite to the neck. Warren held off the head for a good three seconds, before an arrow thudded into the side of the feline. It growled, then fell over. Warren glanced at the arrow and didn't bother reaffirming. It was orcish. Running through the jungle, he had little sense of direction. He didn't really care where he went as long as it was away. He burst through some bushes and saw a small, dark cave, but the orcs were right behind him and he wouldn't have time to hide, so he continued sprinting until he was absolutely sure pursuit was lost. He slowly walked back to his ship and thankfully crashed into his bunk for an early rest.

Nyx watched Warren run like a fool until he was able to escape the saber tooth tiger. He followed him to the ship.
Nyx was about to get on the ship when a loud alarm sounded. Nyx cursed and jumped into a bush, waiting for the guy who lives in the ship to come out.

Warren felt the disturbance of something entering the vicinity of the ward in the jungle and jumped out of bed. He quickly grabbed his knife and sat next to the doorway, waiting for the thing to enter this trap.

After Deblin was a safe distance away from the orcs he decided to try to find a safe place to hide. After searching for awhile he found an found a clearing with a shack. He walked up to one of the windows silently and peeked inside. Inside he could see an old orc sitting at a table eating some chicken or some other meat. Then the orc looked out the window and saw Deblin just as he ducked. The orc got up and went to the door. Then he went to where Deblin was drawing his sword. "I won't hurt you" said the orc in a old voice. "How can i trust you" responds Deblin. "Well I didn't run out yelling war cries and tried to kill you" Said the orc. Deblin lowers his sword and says "What is your name?" "My name is Ryne" Claw responds. "My name is Deblin I escaped from the orcs why aren't you trying to capture me?" "Because after living by myself for along time I think that slavery is wrong no matter what race. I think a lot of wound rather die than be a slave" Ryne answers. "Now come inside if you want it will be night soon. Gets pretty chilly out here." So Deblin follows Ryne into the house and the orc shows him a small room in the house with a small bed. "My grandchild would sleep here when they visited but they all died. Oh they all died." said Ryne. "I'm sorry to here that" says Deblin. "Now you better go to sleep. I bet your very tired." Ryne leaves and Deblin instantly falls asleep.

Cyroli walked out, grabbing an axe as she went. The orcs didn't really care they were arming the slaves, because what good does an axe help you against an orc? She walked down the hill to a grove of trees she had been cutting yesterday. 
The air was cold and crisp, and you could hear birds chirping in the distance. Cyroli though of freedom, what it would be like to be able wake up and just enjoy the morning. No one had ever escaped from the orcs here, they all gpt caught and brutally murdered.
But Cyroli had a plan.

Warren was getting antsy. Orcs usually don't usually wait someone out. They run in raging and swinging axes. He slowly, and quietly crept onto the top of the ship. He peeked through one of the flood holes and looked in the general direction of his totem. Nothing. Then a glint of steel. "An ambush. Clever. Can't be an orc then. Maybe a troll? No. Trolls would have sat up here and waited. Its a cautious human. Sensitive to magic, cause he felt the alarm." Warren told himself, running through the options. He stood up and looked straight at Nyx. "Fuck off!" he yelled, and held up a middle finger. "You'll get us both killed!"
